Warfare 2006

Another successful show was held at Rivermead in November 2006.

We had 70 Trade Stands, 34 Demonstration, Participation Games and Society stands. A huge popular Bring and Buy, and 13 Wargames Competitions attended by up to 200 players.

We supported a local charity and raised £450 for Babies in Buscot support Group (BIBS).
This is a charitable organisation run on a volunteer basis by parents who have had children in Buscot Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. The Buscot ward are continually updating the vital equipment needed to support the tiny babies and this money was used directly for this purpose.
BIBS said they were delighted that they were to be the chosen Warfare 2006 charity, and thanked the Wargames Association of Reading for the donation that was made.

The Warfare 2006 Best Demonstration and Best Participation game winners are included in the photos below.
